"Dan was recommended by a friend and we are so glad he was. We couldn’t be more impressed by his work and professional manner. In under two weeks, Dan had, single handedly, created a built in office around 2 walls, floor to ceiling, with shelves over cupboards, integrated a glass desk, built a tortoise enclosure which slots perfectly under the desk, a shelved partition wall to split the room, finished on the other side with tongue and groove panelling and inset shelving, fully insulated and plaster boarded our cellar AND added huge storage shelves. Incredible ~ we are so grateful!"

"Dan fitted 7 new doors in my flat recently and what a transformation it made to my rooms. He did a fantastic job. As it is a 1930s built complex, standard doors were 2" shorter but Dan added a strip of wood to the bottom of each and now they are painted you wouldn't know. He is an extremely pleasant, quiet and obliging carpenter, no blaring radios, and the job was completed in a day and a half. His price for the job was so reasonable too. I would willingly recommend him to anyone who needs carpentry work undertaken."

"Dan deserves Job of the year award because he played such a vital role in bringing our build on in his quiet unassuming way. He did all those jobs that are so necessary for a house to work. Lots of people get rewarded for the glory work..the sparkly stuff..the end product...but what Dan was superb at was all the first fix work and all those often fiddly jobs which involved him making good the bits that didn't quite fit. His workmanship was excellent and the finished quality was perfect. But what he excelled at was being reliable, telling us exactly when he was coming, what he would do, overcoming any tricky issues without fuss and with minimal cost and fitting in around the timetables of other trades that were pretty demanding. He was an extremely tidy worker and his calm nature was an asset in a build that could get manic and tense. It is difficult to find one photo of his work because it has been all over and is often hidden for example much of it was first fix i.e.the underlay and chipboard flooring, building the stud walls. He made cupboards, did skirting, window sills, doorways and did it all without fuss. It was a pleasure to have him working in the house and we are very grateful."
